Past and present coalesce in this renovation of Rex Lotery’s original design for a mid-century home in Beverly Hills. The approach was guided by a respectful balancing act of subtraction and addition with the interiors, paving the way for the client’s eclectic collection of vintage pieces and lighting to bring a rich new layer of life to an ongoing history.

“To look at Poonam Khanna’s elegant, understated rooms — with their confident, skillful blend of spare, modern lines and warm, welcoming tones and textures — you’d never know that her path to interior design was a circuitous one...but not surprising, given her philosophy that “more than anything else, design is emotional and deeply personal.” It is this philosophy that informs her modern but sensuous aesthetic.”

Pilar Viladas, Introspective Magazine 2020
